Vibration Fork Level Switch is used to drive the vibration fork and feedback signal, when produces the resonation on the fork. When the fork comes into contact with material, the fork will release some frequency signal. It will be converted into the output to the signal. The vibrating frequency causes tuning forks to vibrate free inside the tank when forks are not covered with any media. Once the media covers the tuning forks, it causes damp-ing of vibrations. The damping effect of vi-brating forks is sensed by an equal circuitry which in turns gives an output electronic signal which in turn actuates a relay.

RF-Capacitance Level Switch are the Capacitance level detectors which are sometimes called as admittance level sen-sors. These sensors make use of radio frequency bal-anced impedance bridge circuit to find out whether the probe is in touch with the process material whose level is going to be detected. RF-Capacitance level switch is appropriate for appli-cation in liquid and solid mediums. Design and sensing electric unit makes it suitable for sticky media, large hoppers and storage bins. The switch is easily thread mounted an the tank and is highly reliable in operation.
RF-Capacitance level switch consists of a guard section, upper su-lation, main probe and grounding. It consists of a conductive obe which serves as one of the capacitor plate, and the vessel wall ich forms the other plate of capacitor since it is also prepared fr a conductive material. The isolation between these two plates of ca-pacitor is provided via an insulating process material having low di-electric constant. Now, for measurement purpose, an RF signal is ap-plied between the two capacitor plates which cause a little flow of current from the conductive probe to the vessel wall via process ma-terial. The probe works as an antenna to sense the frequency.
"When the level in the tank drops and the probe is ex—posed to the even less conductive vapours, the dielec—tric constant drops. This causes a drop in the capaci—tance reading and a minute drop in current flow. This change is detected by the level switch' s internal cir—cuitry and translated into a change in the relay state of the level switch".
